request as direct as possible.
Please understand I cannot make copies of any of the book pages due to copyright laws. However, I will send any facts that I find. So please do not ask for copies.

Includes information on the service of nearly 2,500 soldiers from Union County in the American Revolution, War of 1812, Creek War, Seminole War, Black Hawk War, Mexican War and Civil War. Also officers from Union County in the Illinois Militia and the names of all soldiers in the 109th Illinois Infantry.

Information from 555 files includes name of deceased, date and place of death, names of administrators and bondsmen, appraisal of personal property, description of land, amount and date of estate sale, names of buyers, auctioneers and clerks, all heirs and amount of inheritance, and much more. The estates of many Civil War soldiers are included in this volume. 326 pages, 15,000-name index, 1999.

Included are pension and service papers of 45 veterans of the American Revolution who settled in Alexander, Johnson, Pope, Pulaski, Union and Hardin counties, Illinois, and a list of officers and soldiers of the Illinois Regiment.
