Listed below are books that I own and willing to do look-ups on. Use the "Book Look-up Request Form" and fill out as much information as you can. Try and make your request as direct as possible.
Please understand I cannot make copies of any of the book pages due to copyright laws. However, I will send any facts that I find. So please do not ask for copies.

• BRINKERHOFF'S HISTORY OF MARION COUNTY ILLINOIS. By Prof J.H.G. Brinkerhoff. A very detailed history including many families of Marion County, Illinois.
• PENNSYLVANIA TO ILLINOIS - BRYAN FAMILY. Compiled by Violet L. Barnard. History of the Bryan's in Romine Township, Marion County, Illinois.
• THE DESCENDANTS OF JOHANNES STEINSEIFFER. Compiled by H. S. Stonecipher. History of the Stoneciphers from Tennessee and Illinois.

• UNION COUNTY, ILLINOIS, SOLDIERS. Compiled by Darrel Dexter. Includes information on the service of nearly 2,500 soldiers from Union County in the American Revolution, War of 1812, Creek War, Seminole War, Black Hawk War, Mexican War and Civil War. Also officers from Union County in the Illinois Militia and the names of all soldiers in the 109th Illinois Infantry.

• UNION COUNTY, ILLINOIS, GENEALOGICAL INFORMATION VOLUME II. Transcribed by Darrel Dexter. Contains land records 1818-1825; divorces 1818-1880; military census 1862; mortality schedules 1850, 1860 and 1870; apprenticeship records 1818-1868; tavern, ferry and merchant licenses 1818-1870; excerpts from commissioners records 1831-1870; and more. Indexed, over 230 pages, 1996, 1997.
• UNION COUNTY, ILLINOIS, PROBATE RECORDS 1856-1868. Compiled by Darrel Dexter. Information from 555 files includes name of deceased, date and place of death, names of administrators and bondsmen, appraisal of personal property, description of land, amount and date of estate sale, names of buyers, auctioneers and clerks, all heirs and amount of inheritance, and much more. The estates of many Civil War soldiers are included in this volume. 326 pages, 15,000-name index, 1999.
• REVOLUTIONARY WAR PIONEERS. Compiled by Darrel Dexter. Included are pension and service papers of 45 veterans of the American Revolution who settled in Alexander, Johnson, Pope, Pulaski, Union and Hardin counties, Illinois, and a list of officers and soldiers of the Illinois Regiment. Indexed, 210 pages, 1992, 1995.
• UNION COUNTY, ILLINOIS, CEMETERIES VOLUME I. Transcribed by Darrel Dexter. Included are inscriptions from 25 cemeteries in township 13 south. Among the cemeteries listed are St. Johns, Friendship, Hinkle, Big Creek and American Legion. Surname index, over 195 pages, 1990.
